Paul van Zeyl t/a Rand Stamps offers the following six services:

 

1.   Fair attendance

 

      Local Fairs (South Africa)

  • 1st Saturday of a month: Pretoria Fair at Denis Adami Hall, Wren St, Queenswood (09:00 – 14:00)
  • 2nd Saturday of a month: Sandton Fair at Ernest Ullman Recreation Centre, Morningside (09:00 – 14:00)
  • Last Saturday of a month: East Rand Fair at Impala Park Community Centre, Elizabeth Rd, Atlasville (09:00 – 14:00)*

      International Fairs

  • Philatex:  4 - 6 November 2010, Royal Horticultural Halls, Greycoat St, London
  • Southern African Societies Conference: 12 – 14 November 2010, Leamington Spa, UK

  • 3rd Saturday of “uneven” months, i e Jan/Mch/May/Jul/Sep/Nov: Quick Stamp Auctions (QSA) at the Victoria Cross Lodge, 26th St, Menlo Park, Pretoria (11:00) – auction list e-mailed on request

3.   Sales Lists

  • Boer/Afrikaner letters and documents from unusual sources, e g Argentina; also British, German and Portuguese Africa

… and anything unusual of Africa south of the Sahara!!

5.  Evaluations/pricing

 

This service relates to both the qualitative and financial value of collections for both exhibition & sales purposes.

 

6.   Research and write-up of collections

 

This service is offered to serious collectors with exhibits in fields covering central and southern African regions, preferably of an historical nature.

 

For clients who wish to have an idea of what research Paul has undertaken for his own collections, his exhibitions for the 2010 International & earlier ones could serve as examples:
